OVERVIEW

KazMexico operates this website. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to KazMexico. You agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) by using this website, including purchasing our jewellery.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site means acceptance of any changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides our e-commerce platform.


 

1. ONLINE STORE TERMS

By using this site, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian.
  • Will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

Breach of these Terms may result in service termination.


 

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION & JEWELLERY CARE

  • We take care to ensure all jewellery descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, slight variations may occur (e.g., natural stone colour differences).
  • All jewellery should be handled with care. Please follow our Jewellery Care Guide to maintain longevity.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or normal wear and tear.

 

3. PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (if applicable).
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice.
  • Payment must be made in full before orders are processed.

 

4. ORDER PROCESSING & SHIPPING

  • Orders are processed within 2 business days. 
  • Delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping method.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers.
  • For high-value orders, we recommend selecting insured shipping.

Lost or Damaged Items:

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items once shipped.
  • If a package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can assist.

 

5. RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantees

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair if an item:
✔ Has a major manufacturing defect.
✔ Does not match the description.

We do not offer refunds for:
❌ Change of mind.
❌ Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or wear and tear.

How to Request a Return:

  • Email kaz@kazmexico.com within 7 days of receiving your item.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Custom Orders & Personalised Jewellery

  • Custom or engraved pieces are final sale unless faulty under ACL.

 

6. JEWELLERY WARRANTY 

We offer a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not include:
❌ Tarnishing, scratches, or fading from daily wear.
❌ Chain breakage from improper use.
❌ Lost stones due to accidental damage.


 

7. BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

  • Ensure all billing and shipping details are correct. We are not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect addresses.
  • We may cancel orders suspected of fraud.

 

8. CUSTOM JEWELLERY POLICY 

  • Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
  • Once production starts, cancellations or changes may not be possible.

 

9. PRIVACY & SECURITY

We collect your personal information to process orders. We do not sell or share your data. Your payment details are securely processed via Shopify Inc.

10. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

Under Australian Consumer Law, we:
✔ Provide jewellery that is fit for purpose and as described.
✔ Will repair or replace faulty items per ACL requirements.

However, we are not liable for:
❌ Allergic reactions (we provide material descriptions for transparency).
❌ Damage from improper care or external factors (e.g., chemicals, water exposure).
❌ Third-party service alterations (e.g., resizing by another jeweller).


 

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by Australian law, and disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
